The concept of the CMPHR was conceived as a logical, institutional extension of HREP’s work.

CONCEPT:
A muti-dimensional educational space that will provide children with structured opportunities to explore, interact with, reflect upon and understand a wide spectrum of social issues in an enjoyable, interactive and inspiring environment.

AIMS:
To institutionalise and further the work of HREP by creating a non-profit museum developed primarily for children, with peace and human rights as it curatorial focus.

Through this to:

	Carry out structured educational activities around peace, human rights and social justice.
	Positively affect attitudes and beliefs of the visitors by delivering a powerful learning experience that is inspirational, enjoyable and creative.
	Provide access to a well-resourced library on social issues.
	Highlight the importance of museums as an effective and powerful educational space.
	Give the city of Karachi a valuable cultural, social and educational landmark.
